This piece captures a peaceful Scottish Borders viewpoint looking towards Ruberslaw. I love exploring this part of the Scottish Borders landscape and I wanted to reflect the quiet beauty and familiar calm and the ripe golden fields and trees in my work.
 
I created this original painting using pencil, watercolour and silver, black and gold ink. Painted on 300gsm watercolour uncoated paper.
